WIO’s 2018 introduction: from smart textiles to industrial work
October 2018 reports introduced WIO as a smart glove for industrial work, connecting TIM’s textile technology with sensors, feedback and operational workflows.
Thread In Motion’s WIO smart glove appeared in technology coverage in October 2018. Webrazzi’s 4 October report described a move from smart textile development into industrial operations.
Connecting textile engineering with industrial tasks
The original coverage discussed conductive yarn, sensors and haptic feedback, alongside early automotive applications. It described product development and expansion plans as they stood in 2018. The source list preserves the introduction’s Turkish and international publication contexts.
egirişim’s accompanying founder interview offers a distinct format and is retained as a separate historical interview. The later Hoşdere application is also documented separately because it concerns a specific factory use rather than the product introduction alone.
