The Solution

To address these issues, Toyota implemented Thread in Motion's "Wear The Future" project, utilizing VEGA X and Glogi devices to ensure accurate part feeding on the assembly line. The process was digitized through integration with Ilocs software, enabling wireless communication and web services. Ahmet Yılmaz, Production Manager, stated, "Thread in Motion's solutions significantly improved the efficiency of our production line."

The team onboarding took less than weeks and the ROI has been achieved in under 4 months.

The Results

With Thread in Motion's solutions, Toyota reduced errors by matching the correct parts to the right vehicles and decreased production line stoppages by 20%. Balanced workloads were achieved by keeping all devices active, eliminating bottlenecks. Enabling personnel to use both hands increased speed and workshop efficiency. This digital transformation boosted annual production capacity to 280,000 vehicles and enhanced efficiency across 5,400 employees.
