The Challenge

As one of Turkey’s leading cement producers, Çimsa needed to ensure uninterrupted operations across its production plants. The reliability of spare parts inventory was critical yet existing workflows relied heavily on manual processes. Stock discrepancies, inefficient order picking, and delayed visibility into inventory movements created risks for downtime, inefficiencies, and planning errors in maintenance operations.

The Solution

Thread in Motion implemented a fully integrated digital transformation project at Çimsa’s spare parts warehouse. This included the WISPAR warehouse management platform, seamlessly connected to the company’s SAP system, and the deployment of Vega-X smart gloves to digitize material handling tasks.
